If you have the desire to donate or help this campaign, let me first say thank you! There are many ways you can help! I am so appreciative for the continued support; together we will help many babies and children!!
Donate Items– this is ongoing year-round. For a list of items please see *Other Ways To Give > Immediate Needs
Monetary Donations– You can always donate a one-time amount or on a frequency level. To run this organization we do have carrying costs (storage, administrative, PO box, postage, print materials, etc.) In addition to organizational carrying costs, we often times are helping our clients by purchasing Orca bus cards, groceries, gas cards and hotel stays. Funding is incredibly crucial for us to continue serving the community. You can donate here
Kidz Fun Zone– This is an ongoing monthly event held at the Everett Gospel Mission Women and Childrens Shelter. Once a month we strive to have a theme or fun event; decorating cookies, movie night, arts and crafts for the children living in the shelter.
New Bethlehem Day Center– Every other Sunday 2-4pm we take bins filled with essential items for the homeless families there. They are welcome to take whatever items they need.
Storage Organization– Meet the Planning Committee at the storage unit (located in Bothell) to sort, organize and take inventory.
Delivery to families- When we get a “family needs request”, the items are quickly pulled from the storage unit. Often times we need assistance getting the items to the family. Some deliveries will be to shelters, hotels, cars, and encampments. You will need to be comfortable going into these situations. These requests come from all over the King/Pierce and Snohomish counties. You can select which areas/location you are comfortable delivering to.
Be a “Safe Home”- You can be a safe family option to give temporary shelter to a child(ren) pulled from a crisis situation. Learn more here
Sponsor an event or fundraiser to help raise awareness and funds to continue to make and distribute care packages
Be A Voice at the state legislative level. Many babies and children could be offered a safe shelter option if more housing was available. To tackle this issue on a larger scale, we need more voices.
Corporate Matching Program– Does your company offer a charity matching program? We are recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under code 501(c)(3). Tax ID #81-4902417
If any of the above areas of service speaks to you OR you're not quite sure how to help, but want to help…. please email the Volunteer Committee Chair Keri Dutton at email@example.com
