  • Provides financial assistance for kinship caregivers. Licensed foster parents are ineligible. Adults 18+ must be the primary caregiver for his/her friend's or relative's children. Must have exhausted all other financial resources.

    To receive financial assistance, applicants must have exhausted all other financial assistance resources prior to contacting Kinship Care. Adults ages 18 or older who are the primary caregiver for a friend's or a relative's children. Children living in home with caregiver are ages 18 or younger. Caregiver has either informal or formal responsibility, such as legal custody or guardianship. Licensed foster parents or clients with open cases with CPS and Child Welfare Services are eligible for financial assistance through their case workers.

Must be registered before the holiday food distribution days to receive food (no new registrations during holiday distribution).

  • Who's Eligible
    Active Duty Service Members that have been wounded, injured or are critically ill. Disabled Veterans with an awarded disability rating of 10% and higher or a pending case within the VA system. Must have honorable discharge. The Last Mission Project focuses on helping veterans enrolled in a PTSD treatment program.

Those residing in or moving to a city OUTSIDE Bellevue or Redmond MUST HAVE CHILDREN UNDER AGE 18 in the household OR include a pregnant individual. All applicants must have an income at or at or below 50% of the Area Median Income. Motel vouchers available ONLY to homeless families with children that are currently staying IN one of the following cities, or homeless anywhere in King County with documented proof that last permanent residence was in one of the following cities: - Bellevue - Redmond Eligibility criteria may vary depending on available funding; call intake line for the most up-to-date information. No restrictions for emergency food.
