Our Programs

Providing basic necessities and beyond.

At Babies of Homelessness, we use public donations to directly fund basic needs projects for families with children in need and are working to show impact from every project.

Our primary program is our crisis response team that quickly delivers necessities to families with children living in cars/RVs, tent cities, homeless encampments, and shelters. Basic needs services include: diapers/Pull-Ups, baby wipes, formula, infant/toddler food and snacks. We also connect families in need to community resources, including: domestic violence support, housing advocates and temporary/emergency shelters. To date, we have served nearly 3000 families.
Ongoing monthly arts and craft events held for parents and children to help alleviate the fear, stress, and struggles of experiencing homelessness. To date,144 volunteers have hosted the event since 2016 for 300+ kids.
The Back to School event was created to ease the heavy financial burden that back-to-school shopping creates for low income and homeless families. When families are unable to afford supplies the responsibility often falls on faculty and staff and can leave the child feeling insecure or inadequate. For the past 3 years, through the Back-2-School event, 250+ volunteers have equipped 963+ students for success in school.
Each holiday, we invite community members to join us in giving homeless and low-income families a true reason to celebrate the season by hosting a toy drive. For many struggling parents, providing gifts to their children is well beyond their reach. However, with the support from compassionate community members, Babies of Homelessness can bring smiles and happiness to the faces of many children each holiday season. The past 4 years, 100 Babies of Homeless volunteers and donors brightened the holidays for over 124 local families with the help of local Adopt-a-Family Toy Drive donors and volunteers.
